In January 2019, you and your dependents can access therapist-guided, internet-based Cognitive BehavioralTherapy (iCBT) through your extended health care planif you are currently covered for psychologists/ socialworkers coverage.To access the program, simply visit the Benefits Now®for Plan Members site and access the iCBT link (only visible to plans with current psychologist/social worker coverage) in the Coverage Summary section.iCBT gives you and your dependents easy online accessto therapy from any mobile device or computer, allowing you to conveniently incorporate it into your daily lifeand schedule.What is iCBT?iCBT is internet-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Through iCBT people learn how their thoughts, beliefs and attitude can impact their mood and behaviour. Through interactive modules, you can find alternate ways to look at problems and deal with issues. iCBT programs begin with screening for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, mania, sleep and other mental health concerns. iCBT has also been used to help build self-esteemand boost confidence.How does it work?> To start, your extended health care coveragemust include psychologist/social worker coverage(Paramedical Practitioner).
