The 2013 Board of Directors

All members of the Beneplan Co-operative have the opportunity to nominate themselves to be on the Board of Directors - much in the way a condo corporation works.Here are the Directors of the Board of the Beneplan Co-operative for 2013.

Mark Soubry - CEO, JAS Freight Forwarding (1 year seat) - Acting Chairman

Mark served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee as Chairman in 2012.Mark is an expert on international logistics, air freight, freight forwarding, and logistics management. His leadership was integral in the formation of the new member-owned Co-operative.--Mike Miller - CEO Hyd-Mech Group (1 year seat)Mike served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee as Vice-Chairman in 2012.Prior to being appointed as CEO, Mike was the CFO of Hyd-Mech and held CFO positions for much of his career. He has a BBA from Wilfred Laurier University in Accounting & Finance.Mike served on the Board of Directors for CMA Ontario in various capacities and was recognized as a Fellow of the CMA’s (FCMA) in 2008.Mike's passion for ethics, fairness, and reading the fine print, truly brought the formation of the Co-operative to another level.--Tricia Greco - HR Director Mary Kay Corp (2 year seat)Tricia served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012 and has been a member of the Beneplan Trust for approximately 10 years.She brings experience as a strategic Human Resources executive in various industries for over 20 years to her role on the Board of Directors. She is currently with Mary Kay Cosmetics, a Company well-known for its people-oriented culture and accordingly, offers insight on the human perspective to group benefit decisions.--Colleen Musallem - Owner Cana-Datum Moulds (3 year seat)Colleen served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012. She has a B.Comm from the University of Toronto and has been a business owner for over 25 years.--Randy Bowes - CFO Linsey Foods Co (3 year seat)Randy served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012.Randy held several Vice President roles at Loblaw Companies Ltd for 15 years prior to joining Linsey. He is a Chartered Accountant with the CICA. "Specialties: Building businesses, transforming teams, business & brand strategy development, product development, financial management, trusted advisor and change management."--Jennifer Osborn - Director Financial Services, Dan Lawrie Insurance Brokers (3 year seat)Jennifer served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012.Jennifer attended the University of Waterloo. Prior to joining Dan Lawrie Insurance Brokers, she held the posts of Vice President at Burke & Company, and Practice Leader at Krieger & Associates. Jennifer was very important in the decision making process of the new Co-operative in 2012.--George Zeni - Owner, Clover Tool Manufacturing (2 year seat)Served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012.

--Mark Tilley - VP Finance, Active Transport Inc (3 year seat)Mark served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012. He helped to write some of the refund and reserve policies used by Beneplan today.Has been essential in setting up the Co-operative with knowledge of insurance accounting.

--Daniel Friedman - CFO Starline Industries (2 year seat)Served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012.Daniel has served as a Trustee for the Beneplan Multi-Employer Trust for over 9 years. His advise has helped shape the Beneplan Co-operative's new structure to preserve its integrity, spirit, and favourable tax status.--Sisto Fini - Controller TransPro Freight Services (2 year seat)Served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012.Sisto has served as a Trustee for the Beneplan Multi-Employer Trust for over 8 years, and has been pivotal in the formation of policy and guidelines of the Co-operative.--Joseph Indovina - Controller ServiceMaster of Brampton (1 year seat)Served on the Co-operative Advisory Committee in 2012.

--Natasha Khanna - HR Manager, UView Ultraviolet Systems (1 year seat)Natasha is a HR Manager at UView Ultraviolet Systems Inc. She has 8 years of experience in diversity recruitment and on-boarding, benefits and compensation, mergers and acquisitions, legal compliance (i.e. Canadian and United States), employee relations, payroll, safety, performance management, training, and HR policies development. She has her CHRP and is currently pursuing CCP designation that focuses on total rewards and benefits.
